    I've gotten a few--usually good-looking home-cooked meals with a link to the recipe.
The last one I got was this one: http://myheartbeets.com/indian-groun...coconut-curry/
Which I immediately copied to my recipe file.
I don't mind getting food-related posts. Like CathyA, I'm fond of food.

ETA: And so much better than a surfeit of kid pix.

I've never actually posted a photo of food, but I do post treats once in a while. This was the last one as an example of the treats my wife and I made for her students. I liked it so much I'll post it again.

I have a FB friend who posts her daily meals (she is on Weight Watchers and feels she is being accountable and inspiring at the same time). BUT I scroll by SO fast, because her food looks absolutely dismal. Why? Because she cooks everything in a crockpot, 365 days a year. It all looks overcooked and mushy, but there it is, every day.

I have another who is always sending or transmitting photos of herself in front of a dish at a restaurant. Uh, who cares?

But I agree, it's a trend, like selfies.
My therapist told me the way to achieve true inner peace is to finish what I start. So far today, I have finished two bags of M&Ms and a chocolate cake. I feel better already!
