Does anyone here have an etsy shop?

I opened an etsy shop last month and started selling my hand made soaps and knits. (PinkCottageSoaps) I know that frugalone was selling her bookmarks on hers. I have a couple and they are gorgeous! I'm really impressed with the site and what you can do. It seems like this is the new way to do business.

Do any of you sell on etsy? How do you like it? If you buy on etsy I'd be interested to hear from you, too. I get my soap labels there from a guy in Germany. He's fabulous. I also buy muslin bags for them from another vendor. She does beautiful work. All in all, I love it.

Had to see your site so did a search. They are lovely labels and the soap scrap crocheted bag is a wonderful idea. Wishing you well!

Hi razz, Thanks for the encouragement. I didn't expect anyone to buy those soap scrap bags, but they are popular. So, I'm crocheting more like crazy. Hope all is well with you in Canada...

I haven't had any luck with mine, but I may want to revive it. Is yours selling things well?

Hi Zoe Girl, Mine is real new, but I'm getting sales and five star reviews. I sell a lot of soap locally: to friends at the gym, in my knitting group, to neighbors, etc. My etsy sales have been from people on the hip replacement forum and at another simple living forum that I frequent. Some of the people there are wildly successful. I think having good reviews really helps.

How long have you had your shop? What's it called? I hope your sales improve. I know that you really enjoy sewing.
