I have two numbers I put on my dry erase board every January: one is my income goal and the other is my debt reduction goal.
I have met and exceeded both, and for that I give thanks!
I won't divulge my income goal, but it's a stretch goal and I went beyond it!
But you guys have been with me on my debt journey, and as you know the bulk of my debt was the sequelae of the loss we incurred on MILs house during the 2008 recession--mostly IRS debt, which I plan to eliminate once BILs house is sold.
Non-mortgage debt
January 2016: $199,059
November 2016: $148,368 (my goal was to get it down below $150,000)
Thankful for a prosperous year!
