I wonder how long they'll do that. I assume goodwill is paying the shipping, and it seems likely that people will ship stuff that won't sell for the cost of shipping.
since my goodwill is between the post office and the grocery store I think I'll keep dropping off and taking the receipt.
I send a lot of my smaller Amazon boxes to a friend who Etsys, pack up discards in some (which I drop off the usual way), save a lot of them for a move (hope springs eternal), and recycle the rest. I wish there were several charities to choose from, but otherwise I think this is a good idea.
When I do my monthly cleaning I find myself tossing out a lot of stuff but I still get about 3 bagfuls every month. I don't know why I have so much since I don't buy a lot of things.
