    The Halcyon

For those who enjoyed Downton and similar UK tv series here's a heads-up for a new series which transmits here tomorrow evening.

    Reviews seem to be favourable.

I thought Iris Lilies might be interested as it's set in an hotel and in light of loving the Duchess of Duke Street!

Thank you, sounds good. I like Olivia Williams and have not seen her in anything in years. It will be a while before it plays hete.

We are just getting thevPBS production Victoria here, it rolls out in two weeks.

The first few episodes of Victoria were great, especially the interaction between the Queen and the Prime Minister, Lord Melbourne, played by Rufus Sewell.

I lost interest after the first three or four episodes, but have them recorded and may catch up at some point!

Well, the jury's out on this...
We'll have to see if it improves!

I had this problem with Mercy Street. One of those shows you want to love but it doesn't do it.

That Halycon sounds good - I wonder if we will get it in the states?

Victoria, starts in couple of weeks, and Mercy Street and Call the Midwife will air this spring too. Did you see the Call the Midwife Christmas episode set in Africa? it was awesome!

I thought the Africa episode was feeble!

I've never heard of Mercy Street.

    The Halcyon.

Lost interest in the middle of episode III, and have just deleted the rest of the episodes, I think it finishes tonight.
