Has anyone seen The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-time?

I really loved the book and it's coming to Boston as a play, with very expensive ticket prices. It sounds like something we would like judging from the reviews. Has anyone here seen it?

I love that book as well... now sitting here imagining it on stage. Intriguing. I think I've read it four times and lent it out numerous.
My therapist told me the way to achieve true inner peace is to finish what I start. So far today, I have finished two bags of M&Ms and a chocolate cake. I feel better already!

The sets in the Uk were 'interesting'. The show won about 7 or 6 Olivier Aewards.

    I went googling. Here's a review. https://www.londontheatre.co.uk/revi...ielgud-theatre

We went to see the play today and it was great; I really enjoyed the imaginative way they showed us the world through Christopher's eyes, especially when he was taking trains and navigating London. I also thought they did a great job giving you a sense of his parents' challenges. Christopher is wonderful and they loved him very much, but life with him was so difficult they were often beside themselves. And the idea of having a child you loved but weren't allowed to touch or hug is about the most poignant thing I can imagine - I actually can't imagine it really, because I think hugs are the best things ever!
I would definitely recommend it, a fine combination of thought-provoking and entertaining.

Our local professional repertory theater is doing this play next fall. I bid on a gift certificate to that play and got it at a fundraiser. Win/win, I get a ticket and 100% of that money goes to bulldog rescue. yay!
