    lower cell phone rate!

I just changed my plan with Verizon a little and it will be about $20 a month cheaper! So I am putting my 'not smoking' money in my savings today (30 days no smoking and 7 days no nicotine like patches or gum). Next month I can add my phone savings.

Edited to add, it will take $150 a month to reach my savings goal for the next year. Student loans has a different payment amount than I do so that is jamming me up but I can actually see a chance of getting to my goal or close, amazing.

If cigarettes are $6 a pack you are saving $180 a month by not smoking! Put that in your fund.

Oh my! I was buying about 2-3 packs a week at most! So I am putting $15 a week in savings, but nowhere near a pack a day.

Awesome on not smoking. I wonder why TLC doesn't do a show on kicking that habit. I have never smoked (highly allergic) but I know it is a tough habit to break.
