Some people think it is reason enough. I suppose if there is a case for him not living up to his sworn duty to protect and defend the constitution by wild abuse of power, or an issue of national security by being a pathological liar, then he could be committing "high crimes and misdemeanors". I think this is an impeachable issue. I actually think it is a big stretch.
Is he under oath in a courtroom when he Tweets? /QUOTE]

Exactly; he is not tweeting under oath. Every time he's been on the witness stand under oath in one of the many lawsuits against him he suddenly and conveniently looses his memory. His constant refrain is "I don't recall. I can't remember." (Even about facts which have multiple witnesses and solid documentation.) Because he knows he'd better not lie under oath. If he's not under oath, the sky is the limit as we have seen.

During the Obama administration, yes - but the tweet he sent out was a bit misleading. It would be kind of like me saying Trump is currently investigating Russian ties to the election (which isn't true, the FBI is). And it kind of twisted sideways when he said England did it in collusion with Obama.

But considering the wiretap had to do with Russian mafia being set up in Trump Tower, I think it's more damning Trump than vindicating him.

That was an entirely different investigation involving a tenant of Trump Tower and ended several years ago.

The current brouhaha involves several members of the Trump transition team's communications being recorded as part of other un-named investigations yet to be disclosed, although apparently involving foreigners. From what our various agency heads have told us, any American citizens surveilled during those investigations should be shielded, but that doesn't seem to have happened during these investigations. It appears that those conversations were passed around the various agencies and were leaked to other interested parties.

    I call shenanigans.

In some ways, such well-spun, elegant innuendo makes Trump's more blatant lies seem almost refreshing.

Have you seen the Time magazine interview he did recently? I think he is suffering from senile dementia. He cannot speak in coherent sentences or stay on any topic for more than a second. Help!
    His parting words were

Shades of Chevy Chase on SNL.
