Bacon.........it has the 2 most important food groups in the world.......salt and fat.

OMG Alan..........it looks sooooooo good. (And it's heart-healthy too, right?)

What a neat idea, Alan, and a beautiful presentation. We would have to do turkey bacon because of DH's mammalian protein allergy, but it makes a pretty good substitute. A great meal for a cold wet night.

I don't eat bacon often, but when I do, I can eat a whole pound of it!

My wife and I have spent the past few days painting the main living area of our house. I made this on Friday because it didn't require much work, about 15 minute prep time. It became a main course on Friday evening and lunch today. My 15 year old grandson was here this afternoon and after seeing the pictures, decided that I should make another next weekend and invite him over to help. He also suggested I add chopped spinach next time.

My wife and I enjoyed it enough, and Joey seemed excited enough that I think I'll take his advice and make two. After all, he's still a growing boy, and now I know he'll cut my grass for bacon.

Cheap price for grass cutting. I think it's neat he asked about adding spinach...don't think I've ever decided that adding spinach was an option.

Well, I've been telling him his entire life that he'll be strong to the finich if he eats his spinach like Popeye the Sailor Man.

    For food poisoning.
If I were to go by Popeye, then that stuff that came out of the can, looks the same as bad, soggy decomposing lettuce. I always thought it looked like Popeye was eating wet grass clumps off the bottom of the mower deck.
