Have you all seen Safety Not Guaranteed?

It is an "Indy" Rom-Com. But somehow, it really does move you emotionally. The soundtrack contains a most beautiful song and the main character plays it on a zephyr and sings it really well.

Here is a link to the trailer. You will laugh, but you will also cry.

Stanley Kubrick's "Paths of Glory." I must have been about 12 when I saw it on television. I think it was the first time I realized that a movie could be more than just entertainment.

Safety not Guaranteed is on my list.

I finally got around to watching Whiplash. I had to take two breaks to finish it and spent quite a bit of time yelling at J.K.Simmons.

So many great movies--I think we could have a whole thread on Peter O'Toole, and my pick for that is My Favorite Year!
