Need ideas for drinks for a crowd

    Help, need ideas.
I am tired of buying an array of soda, and bottled water for groups of people coming to my house.
This week we have another such event, anywjere from 3 to 20 people. I have the food covered, but I need ideas for drinks. Usually I have cans of things leftover that never get used up.

i dont mind serving just one drink plus water. Iced tea? Or???

I am also trying to visualize the container that I need to buy and store and clean in order to move to a different paradigm of offering drinks.

Could you just lay in a supply of fruity sparkling water in whatever flavors suit your fancy--like LaCroix? No worry about waste or disposal; they're sugar free and can be used as mixers. They're often on sale, as well. But iced tea, or some version of tea punch would be OK, too.

I always got cans of whatever we would drink if it were leftover, filled a washtub with ice, and let guests get their own. There was no waste because we would drink whatever was left over. LaCroix, coke, diet coke, 7-up, and or gingerale and rootbeer.

How about asking people to BYOB?
My therapist told me the way to achieve true inner peace is to finish what I start. So far today, I have finished two bags of M&Ms and a chocolate cake. I feel better already!

These things are super popular now and I think I've even seen them at Wal-Mart. And then you could play around on pinterest coming up with a different drink (lavender lemonade, peach tea, seaside sunrise) for each event.

I offer tea, coffee or lemonade in my mugs.
