Furminator I double that suggestion. I say every hair outside is one that is not inside! Or another, No outfit is complete without dog hair. I thought I had seen all the hair once could imagine with my beasts, then along came my Jack Russell Terrorist Miss Lily Beans. Oh who wants to wear black anyhow!
WE have the mitt and another metal device for getting the hair out. 3 years ago we inherited our son's 80 lb husky/shepherd mix and while he has always shedded this year is by far the worst. Each day we remove enough hair that fills a walmart plastic bag and still within hours we see his hair floating around. WE had a long, cold winter for us and a hot early summer so I think that is having something to do with it. He is almost 12 and still walks 3 miles/day and is an awesome dog. I am guessing this is his last summer so are taking him swimming daily and then a walk and giving him more beef sticks then we usually do. I will really miss him when he goes but no more shedding dogs for me. My Maltese do not shed which is lovely.
Furminator was invented in st. Louis. Imhave a free one fromthe former head ofMarketing. i like it a lot.they are not cheap.
