    Maudie

    Hey all:

I just watched Maudie. This film is really powerful and sad and happy and uplifting. I strongly suggest it.

UL, I loved this and thought the acting was superb..Imagine how she had to strive to get the voice and body language just right.. Good Canadian Maritimer characters. Several friends had received some of her cards but to their great regret, they enjoyed them but didn't keep them.

I saw the trailer for this in the movie theater and unfortunately, cant see how my extreme dislike for Sally Hawkins could be overcome. But I am glad that you all enjoyed it.

Hawkins was the heroine in the worst adaptation of a Jane Austen work I have ever seen. And then there was a flm where she played someone preternaturally happy. i think the film was called Happy or Happy Happy. It was also unwatchable.

Come now, you would hate the film where she is happy happy happy all the time. Admit it.
