Ordered a Roku on Black Friday

Found that I can put a Roku (~$30) on spare tv and add the tv app from my local cable company and have another tv that will allow me to use all the cable channels. Also, can have Netflix and whatever else you desire. It really is working out nicely.

We have a Roku and that is how we watch Netflix with our ancient large non flatscreen tv.

My second TV is a Roku-enabled TV that I bought from Costco. I do like having the flexibility.

Is this a cost savings compared to the cable enabled tv?

The cable company charges for each tv you have hooked up for service. We can put the cable app on the Roku and avoid the fee for that tv.
