Very tempted at the moment to get a free trial of Amazon Prime so I can get a crafting item that is selling like hotcakes everywhere. I can get it with free two-day shipping if I sign on for Prime. I don't know if I'd want to keep Prime.
It's another $10 a month and while I realize that's not much, and I can certainly afford it, I wonder if it's a good idea. I've really cut down on buying books the past few years, but occasionally we do find something on Amazon that we need and it's a great price. Recent examples: I have back problems, and we found an inflatable cushion that lets my tailbone rest happily. We got a giant jug of Hibiclens, a medical-type soap.
I don't know if the Pantry prices beat, say, Wal-Mart. But I loathe going to Wal-Mart. I've got a friend who lives on an island in Florida and she orders a lot of food through Pantry, as it's a PITA to get off the island during tourist season.
The TV, I'm sure we'd find something to watch. We do have Netflix in the meantime.
How about you?
