Mary, Queen of Scots. Beautifully shot, impeccably acted, and rather dull.

So IL, you are partly right. The Favorite was a bizarre movie we saw today. I have lost the right to pick movies for awhile according to my husband). I did laugh at some of it. I have liked other black comedies better.

I watched Three Identical Strangers today. I was vaguely familiar with the facts, but not the back story.
    It held my interest.

Did the film reveal that there was originally 4 of them? One died at birth.

No. And that would seem to be a not insignificant fact to mention.

I'm hoping to see Mary Poppins very soon. The original is one of my all time favorites.

Just rented I, Tonya and liked it very much. I remember all the hoopla around that scandal at the time. I wonder how her skating performances would be perceived today when being "different" is more acceptable in that world.

Roma. It's in the top ten 2018 movies of many film critics. Black and white with English subtitles about a maid to a doctor's family in 1970ish Mexico.

    Loved it.
