    Pain creams.........

I've been trying a few different pain creams for some of my nerve pain. Lidocaine cream did nothing. A Lidocaine patch did nothing. I was always afraid to get a cream that would feel hot, because my skin is sensitive. But today I bought the Kroger version of capsaicin cream. It appears to have more capsaicin in it than some of the brand names. But I feel absolutely nothing at all........no warmth whatsoever (and no pain control). I called the Kroger pharmacist and she said it's not the kind of cream that makes your skin feel warm. Huh? That's not what I've been reading. What pain cream works for you, and if you've tried capsaicin, don't you think it should feel at least a little warm?

I like capsaicin, the hotter the better; I'm a hardy sort.
CBD cream has no effect on me at all.

But shouldn't it feel at least warm? I'm thinking of returning this, since it's not even mildly warm.

I have a friend who was a competition water skier for years and now has joint pain from falls and probably repetitive motion. She swears by CBD cream. I imagine nerve pain is completely different though.

It absolutely works for some--even animals. Just not me, apparently.

Back when I hurt my knee, my PT gave me a topical cream called Topricin. It seemed to help some but wasn't long-lasting.

I think CBD cream is illegal in Indiana.
