    Officially an instructor

I went yesterday to do the paperwork and schedule and I am officially an instructor with Colorado Free University. I will be teaching crochet, a class in April and then June and July as well. Very excited. The lady in charge of everything told me I will basically make gas money, I live a mile from the location so I can buy a Starbucks.

CFU has classes in everything, arts, spanish, computers, etc. They have been around a long time, I have taken a few classes there myself. And teaching, any kind of teaching that doesn't involve standardized tests at least, is my mental health boost.

Glad to hear...I take community/adult ed classes all the time and it always seems like the instructors enjoy what they do.

    Congratulations! Have fun with it!

Cool! I like crocheting but don't really have time for it.

Those courses are a treasured opportunity both to teach and enjoy. It will add to your resume as well

    That's a door opening! Wonderful.

Did you know Betty Hechtman wrote a series of 12 mysteries that involve crocheting? The protagonist is Molly Pink, who works for a library... and solves murder cases on her own time. I have not read any of these mysteries, but I think I might enjoy an audiobook, if ever that comes out. Some titles that caught my eye:
    Dead Men Don't Crochet
    A Stitch in Crime
    Behind the Seams
    If Hooks Could Kill
    For Better or Worsted
