Good for you Tybee. It is a never ending struggle.

Self-improvement is a struggle for ME, that's for sure! YAY for all of us who are trying to make or lives better in some fashion!
I need to quantify my goals for this challenge, or I know I won't hold myself accountable. SO, I'm aiming for 100 journal entries this year (about 2 a week). So far, I have 5 for the year. I want to make daily entries in my interactive journal, which I need to date so I know when I started it. So far I'm on day 11, and entry 11! And I want to spend 100 hours this year on my upstairs decluttering/reorganizing. THAT is at zero and probably will remain that way for the next few weeks as I have other things backed up at the moment. So, those are my goals, and I hope that by posting here, I will do a better job of actually accomplishing them! Thanks, ejchase and all of you, for keeping this thread going!

I guess, CL! That's a long distance!

Day 13 on the journal, and 2 more days on my regular journal. That's it so far. WOW, 1000 yards seems like a lot of swimming! I don't know how to swim, so that would be LOTS of time for me to drown in, lol.

I grew up near the ocean. My class was required to pass “drown proofing” to get out of 6th grade.
i love swimming, but prefer open water.
rode the bike this morning - 3
still keeping up with the journaling. It is definitely helping me process things.

The pool was closed.
which made it impossible to swim.

So, the pool is back in order. Swam 1200 yards last night.
swimming 2

journal is going well. There have been several difficult things recently and it is helpful to have a place to process them and a defined structure to help me do it.
