Hey frugal-one.........what brand do you have? After looking a lot of them over online, I ordered the VegMate spiralizer. It's coming today and I have a couple zucchini just sitting here, waiting for it!

I used mine last night to make zucchini noodles so I could use up some pesto sauce in the fridge. pretty tasty.

Yesterday I had butternut squash fries baked in the oven by the same company that makes zucchini noodles. There must be so many more shapes they can come up.

Thanks Frugal-one. That looks good. Here's a pic of the one I bought. It doesn't take up much room. I think I would like the open space of yours so that I wouldn't have to empty the little bowl as often. I've taken it out, but it still gets a bit messy. I really like easily turning the knob and changing the size of the noodles. I hope this holds up after time. It was only about $18.00.
I bought DD a fancier one a few years ago that has different discs. But this little one seems to meet the needs I have.
