I have not read all the posts here but thought this is relevant to OP.

Foxconn that Gov. Walker in WI paid billions to get is now requesting to use 7 million gallons of water DAILY to manufacture LED screens. They actually are considering this. Of course, petitions are in the works. Also, making special accommodations for environmental pollutions etc. Talk about disgusting!!!

Thank you, Suzanne, for posting a real-life perspective on what happens when there's not "enough" water. Ironically, it doesn't take all that much water to be "enough". Or that much petroleum. Or that much light. Or any of the other materials we abuse because they're just so darn cheap and available.

If you need an incentive to use less water (or to start using gray water) take a tour of your local water treatment plant. It really changed my perspective.

Not as concerned as I am about the ever-increasing drugs in our water supply, but it's another worrisome trend.
