As Cicero said, “Gratitude is not only the greatest of virtues, but the parent of all the others.”
Float On: My "Happy Place" is on my little kayak in the coves of Table Rock Lake.
He did a whole 24 hours of videos, where he filmed different people singing/dancing along to the song. There's one in the 11am video, of 3 older women just having a great old time, and is inspirational for me.
Nice, thanks for sharing Razz!
This reminded me...a few years ago, I took a workplace "reduce your stress as you age" class comprised of mostly stretching, meditation set to quiet new age music etc. On the last day, the teacher asked us to stand and express ourselves with a last song. Then she turned on "Happy" at full blast and everyone began dancing around the room - exact opposite mode of previous instruction. It was an odd scene but memorably joyful.
I dance almost everyday to songs like this in line dancing groups. They’ve come a far cry from boot scootin’ Boogie. Although we do that too.
Kind of like aerobic dance and we have a blast. You know, if you surround yourself with people having fun it makes you happy.
Anyway, the version we did recently is this one, there are videos on the right hand side of the page of people dancing it.

DD1 was telling me that this was part of a soundtrack for a movie, she thought. It obviously has a greater history than I knew. I am going to try dancing to it as well; sounds like fun.
