    Question about herbs

Sometimes the herbs I see (in bottles) are green and at other times they are brown. I'm assuming green is better, but am I wrong?

Green is better. Brown means they are older, have faded or weren't processed well to start with.

Cinnamon should be brown. Green is not good.

Lol, I was thinking of the dried, curled stick kind, but yes, it’s a spice. I was just being silly.

If it were furry, would it be an herb?
