You can tell that nice people live here

This house is across the street from my Mother-in-law's house. You probably won't be able to make it out, but there is a robin sitting on a nest cradled in the base of the wreath.

ETA: I don't think you can read all the words in this smaller image, so the sign says, "Caution, Birds nesting in wreath on front door. Leave mail and newspaper in black wooden mailbox."

Ah, that's cool. I'd probably do something similar if it was a robin or hummimgbird. As it is I've had a wren make nests on the front porch far end in pottery bowls for 5-6 years. We just don't use the chairs at that end untill after nesting season.

I have the same thing going on now on my front porch. We've had to stop using the front door and close the curtains to avoid scaring the Robin who has taken up residence there.
This pic was taken a few weeks ago, those blue eggs are now fuzzy little chicks.

We've had returning birds nesting in our hedge. Since we severely trimmed, I never checked for nests and assumed the parents had relocated. Hubby informed me I'd missed the whole thing - nest, eggs, birth and flight. So, our spring season is done.
