C$4.80 to 5.11 per US gallon
My Prius V is a blessing at these times for fuel consumption at 47 mpg.

No, as I understand it, the price of crude has been experiencing spikes due to the Socialist Utopia of Venezuela being unable to produce at prior levels, due to it being a Socialist Utopia, the renewed Iran sanctions and cuts in output by OPEC and Russia. "Drill Baby Drill" is still the solution to price stability.

US politics now with Iran can’t help either.

Seems that the range is about $3.49-$3.69 for regular 87 here in the metro area; in the rural community where I live, it is always 50-60 cents higher, so I buy gas when I'm in the metro area. I noticed today it was $4.29 here. I think we all kind of expect it to be higher on holidays and in the summer. Supposedly less is used when school's out, so they have to charge us more to make up for it...

    Best prices:
    Central New Jersey: 2.77
    Grand Isle, VT: 2.99

razz, I'm with you on the advantages of driving a hybrid car. My Prius still gets about 48 mpg. So if fuel prices rise slightly, I don't go nuts.

I paid $3.159/gallon for diesel last week. I'll be good for another 5-6 weeks yet. The signs I remember seeing at local filling stations were between $2.799 and $2.849. 40 cents difference; about double the mileage? Still a deal.

I took a brief excursion to the mountains over the weekend and gas was running around $3.20 +/- a little in the tourist areas. Here in town it's still a little under three dollars. I almost always pay cash for gas and some places offer a few pennies off for cash. Toss in overpriced housing and inflation looks like part of our near future.
