Doughy is good)
My Maltese that’s only one loves to sleep with his head on my tummy. My DH calls it a Buddha belly. He may not get to live. Max also likes to put his little head down my shirt and sleep like that. I guess doggies can be perverts)
21.1.
Apparently waist-to-hip and waist-to-height ratios are better metrics than BMI. And, of course, waist size, as already described.
This site has many calculators:

My “ diet and exercise program”:
Eat real food, not too much, mostly plants.
Move.
The hips are the widest oat of you below the waist - so just keep letting the tape out until you can slide it to the ground. Your hips are a touch under that.
Men with a waist circumference of 40+” are at high risk of metabolic syndrome. Luckily it’s easy to lose visceral fat, which brings the waist measurement down quickly.
Just for interest, I came across this: https://www.npr.org/2014/07/25/33264...r-his-britches. Now I’m going to try find a comparable article for women!
I also don’t have a diet and exercise program. I walk a fair amount, getting around, and my husband and I take an evening walk. I buy whole fresh fords and cook from scratch - probably, in terms of calories, roughly equal plant and animal source foods. Most of what I eat is low-glycaemic index. My weight cycles between 123 and 128lb.
I have noticed post-menopausal shape-shifting, so I bought a figure-8 resistance band, and I do around 15 minutes every second day. I swim three days a week, for pleasure more than profit. I’ve been building back up, after a year out of the water, and should be back to a mile ny the end of next week. I float and stretch after ever 10 lengths, and I swim at a leisurely pace.
Here it is: 128 countries, heights and weights for women and men.
