I lost 40lbs and my apnea went from severe to moderate except that my oxygen levels drop into 60’s without it so I need it. I feel so much better with it. Can’t use it with a cold or cough though.

And I thought about the ER when my oxygen level dropped to 85%. Cannot imagine less than that. Update: Just found this: Normal blood oxygen levels in humans are considered 95–100 percent. If the level is below 90 percent, it is considered low resulting in hypoxemia. Blood oxygen levels below 80 percent may compromise organ function, such as the brain and heart, and should be promptly addressed.

So I am not, according to the doctor, apneaic. Nor do I present disordered sleep.

    Well, that's good news!
If Americans expended even a fraction of the energy on civic engagement that we spend on consumer ideology, our democracy would be much healthier. Can you imagine people camping out to vote? -- Charles Roberts, Amherst, Mass., Nov. 25, 2006
