Red Lily Beetle is the scourge of the NE Lily growers.
including Canada. The beetle is moving our way, we (the lily society and horticulturists) are tracking it. It recently showed ip in, I think, Wisconsin? Likely carried by big box store products.

The North American Lily Society conference will be held in Boston next summer and we will get a chance to see it, I suppose.

Here are some things I do while watching baseball/tennis and trying to stay out of the kitchen:IMG_20180320_203611_333.jpgIMG_20180409_210319_794.jpg20180715_201241.jpg
My therapist told me the way to achieve true inner peace is to finish what I start. So far today, I have finished two bags of M&Ms and a chocolate cake. I feel better already!

No, not mine--I belong to an online stitchery club. I hadn't picked up needle and thread in a very long time, and just decided to take it back up in the past year.

Beautiful handiwork. I used to embroider but also haven't done it in ages.

+! I still use the runner I made for my dresser. Lovely to see it is still being done.
