    Good Books/Advice for Entering Menopause

It has started for me, and I really don't know a thing about it. Those who have been through it, what advice can you give me? And any books or other resources that were particularly helpful?

An online forum for menopause that was helpful to me at the time. I looked it up just now: https://power-surge.co/

Dr. Christiane Northrup has written many books on it including "The Wisdom of Menopause."
My therapist told me the way to achieve true inner peace is to finish what I start. So far today, I have finished two bags of M&Ms and a chocolate cake. I feel better already!

I've been having perimenopause symptoms, mainly hot flashes, that are annoying. During the day at work I'm often running into the walk-in fridge/freezer or rubbing my neck and arms with ice cubes. So far I'm over 20 a day, lasting about 2-3 minutes each.

Anyway, there's a series of informative videos under Menopause Barbie on YouTube that are really useful. My fingers are crossed that the hot flashes are the only bad thing I'll experience; no mood swings, heavy bleeding or excess facial hair for me!
