break-*through*Thanks all. I re-read the email detailing our conversation about everything I did not get done in the days leading up to my breakdown.
(yea maybe only because it ended with you get out of there with another job, but ...)

Good point ANM, however i call it a break in general because i heard my mind go snap, just like a bone breaking. I want to honor how serious this was. I also like coming through
ZG, over the decades of my working life, I found that when I reached a roadblock such as you did, I was guided in a new direction which was better for me and my working life. Don't see the change as a loss but a sign post to better things.
None of us is completely in charge of and able to plan our life, we move through it adapting and learning and growing. What you have gone through is valuable and needed for the next stage of employment. Watch and see it all unfold, leave any regrets behind.
You have 8 years of history in this position without major problems so both you and the organization will gain from the change. Don't try to outline how, where or when.

Absolutely, which is why I think suicide by the young is so very tragic. Not to minimize the impact of depression and mental illness on likelihood to choose to take one's own life, but for those who feel a certain event makes life not worth living, if they could only get a peek at what's around the corner....

Oh i have been in tears 75% of our meetings, mostly misting up and then going to my car to cry. Sucks, sounds like new meds will help with that (2 days until we know if it works). However it is usually in a meeting where i am just berated into tears.
Crying over someone you have a horrible relationship quitting is not cool. I had SUCH good advice from my 2 Buddhist teachers! Inlove those women
