I get giddy over others’ retirements because I know how wonderful it will be. I relive my last day at work and still think it was the best day of my ‘working-out-of-the-home-for-money' career. Congratulations.

Indeed. I have heard so many retirees mention how much busier they are now than they were when they were working. I suspect not having a 50-60 hour per week occupation on their schedule has something to do with that.

Coming in late to this party, but congratulations, Alan! Motorcycles, books, good food, some cool home projects, music...the ideal retirement!

Thanks, I'm one week and a day into the rest of my life and I'm amazed at how much lighter I feel.
