    Tuna and sweetcorn

I see this particular combo on a lot of food sites I'm on. I've never seen or heard of it here in the western part of the US. I see it often from UK posters...Has anyone ever tried this combo? I'm intrigued, but adding just one tablespoon of corn to tuna salad seems odd to me. I do usually have a bit of frozen corn in the freezer, so maybe not so weird. I'm a celery and sweet relish person myself when it comes to my occasional tuna salad unless I'm making Mexican tuna which is an entirely different thing.

We were introduced to sweet corn on pizza in the UK years ago. We still enjoy corn on many more things especially in the summer when it is in the farmer's markets.

of course, we are weird and will put leftover cooked veggie mix or Chinese food on a pizza too. :-)

Tinned Sweetcorn and tuna, mixed with mayonnaise is a popular filling for jacket potatoes here in the UK. It can also be a sandwich filling. As i don’t like tinned tuna, I can’t vouch for how it tastes, but both are pretty common here,so some must like it!

I would of never thought to put tuna in a baked potato...but here you go https://www.coffeeandvanilla.com/spi...cket-potatoes/
This I would consider in a pantry clean out...which is currently what I'm doing and I know I've got corn in freezer and a pouch of tuna in pantry http://www.roxyskitchen.com/quick-ea...tuna-corn.html
These actually sound really yummy. I have a potluck breakfast meeting coming up. The tuna in quiche might give energy to carry through the meeting http://littlegrazers.com/tuna-and-sw.../#.V2bc_PnTWv1

Maybe it's just me, but tuna in potatoes, let alone with corn, sounds so odd. . .
My husband stirfried some sweet corn with some leftover turkey and onions and celery and it really did add a sweet flavor, for sure.

We do what I admit is probably a really odd tuna salad. We put jalapenos, spicy carrots, and wassabi in. SO isn't a big fan of corn besides grilled on the cob, so I probably won't try that, but I can see tossing it in as well.

But I just found the idea for my question from the other thread, what to do with the leftover chinese food. Put it on pizza! SO won't be into that either so it'll have to be a half Chinese food topped pizza and a half normal pizza, but whatever. I'm up for a food adventure.

There's a food truck that specializes in Korean BBQ tacos with a spicy Asian slaw on top--and look! There's a recipe. (Actually lots of recipes...)
