Strangest dog "treats" you dog loves?

My dog, Harlan, loves all kinds of things that other dogs dislike.

He thinks the tough end of a head of romaine lettuce is a delightful treat.

He also goes wild for fortune cookies (a very rare treat).

Does your dog like any out of the ordinary treats?

He loves the dried kelp and seaweed snacks. And beach kelp if I bring it home and lay it out for a bit.

I eat it in salads too, great stuff, lots of minerals and salt.

I used to give Harlan a couple smoked oysters from a tin. He loved them!

But they made him projectile vomit in the middle of the night. Granted, it'd be into the trash can like I trained him. But it was horrible be woke up to that. haha

So no more smoked oyster treats for him.

I know it is healthy. I might try to get some seaweed snacks and see if Harlan likes them...

You trained your dog to vomit in the trash can! That’s brilliant.

One of my dogs will eat anything, and his favorites are fruit or veggies not meat and cheese! He loves berries. Once, I gave both dogs a small pile of raspberries and left the house. When I returned, there was so much berry juice in the floor that my first reaction was it was a crime scene! Turns out, the other dog doesn't eat them, but kept moving them around to keep them away from the first dog.

On the opposite side, towards the picky dog eater, one time I bought my dog Kibbles & Bits because I couldn't get his regular food. Laddie ate all the "kibbles," but around his bowl were the "bits" which he had carefully picked out and left behind.

Ours loves vegetables of any kind. If there is butter on them..... even better. Used to eat bread crusts but won't anymore. Oddly, will still wrestle you to the ground for the very crispy edge of a pizza crust.
