    First hiking with grandma

41283137_2121211284565432_3578462709739421696_n.jpg I don't think I have ever posted a picture of myself! Here I am with Avery, who is 22 months, on her first hiking trip. It was just a local place (Cherry Creek state park) but nice and shady. We probably did almost 2 miles with minimal carrying by mom. She got some sticks, put her hands in dirt and sand, and walked over a couple rocks.

She has my grandmothers bright blue eyes, they met twice which was 5 generations together. I will find the photo of them together sometime.

I like seeing you and her. Weekends outdoors are so healing.

    Ahhh. She's cute.
Did you cut your hair? I thought it was really long the last few years. You look happy!

She is a tiny person with a very big personality, LOL. It will be interesting finding her clothes since she has no chub at all.

I got a trendy assymetrical cut a couple years ago, it looked a bit severe. So I am growing it to just past should length which is perfect. This is a couple months of growing out and no styling at all that day!

Great picture and nice to put a face to your posts. She's a lucky granddaughter.
