    Well, that saves me a research project and some counter space :-)

    I made black beans from scratch yesterday. And DAAAAAAAAAMN! They was good!

    I've always preferred the texture of dried beans, reconstituted and cooked (slow cooker or otherwise). Much better than canned or frozen IMHO.

    Today I am on my 4th crockpot of tomatoes, cooking them down into pasta sauce. The thing is reall really handy for that.

    It has been a good year for tomatoes.

    I have sausage-kale soup cooking in the IP. I think total cooking time was about 25 minutes.

    I make my homemade spaghetti sauce in the crockpot and it always turns out perfect.
