Me, but that’s because my body seems to have “forgotten” how to process it - change in the gut biome most likely. I only eat it by accident - “vegetarian” dish that actually had meat broth in it or once a handful of chips cooked in lard - those were the worst!

might want to check on your gall bladder.

Could I be running out of gall?

No, you’re still galling, but the gall bladder does play a key role in digesting animal fat.

Animal fat - consuming it as my SO is Hispanic as meat is important at a Hispanic table if said table can afford meat - does make me feel guilty. I try to minimize my consumption without making it a huge deal. Rob

The flavor is delicious. It is afterwards... physically queasy.

Chase it down with bourbon and you’ll feel better.

No, but what specific animal fat are we talking about here? Because unless it really is a gallbladder problem, I think it's allergies/sensitivites to a specific food. Most animal foods contain protein, along with fat, and it's actually the protein that is the allergen. Diary is a common allergen, eggs or fish are allergens for some (I find fish super easy to digest), beef is just generally hard to digest for many.

I have had the queasy feeling with avocados sometimes though! I limit red meat anyway, but not because of an allergy.
