Homemade air filter?

We have so much dust around here. I saw this on YouTube and think I'll try it and see if it captures a lot.

You just get a paper furnace filter and hook it onto a floor box fan. Haha......I'm going to give it a try. The only down side is that in cold weather, the breeze might bother me. We'll see.

I made some of those for folks during our most recent air quality problem, and they produced decent results, according to my particulate meter.
