Are you saying republicans are responsible adults? hahahahahahahaha That's hilarious! Unless by responsible adults you mean the type that put budget busting tax cuts in place and yell "VOTER FRAUD! VOTER FRAUD!" during the counting of ballots in an effort to trash our democracy even when there's no evidence of voting fraud? Those kind of responsible adults?

Some more than others, admittedly. But I always thought highly of Mitt. There are those on both sides reacting to losses with cries of vote fraud, disenfranchisement and Russian interference. There are those who speak darkly of “threats to our democracy” and see stormtroopers behind every tree whenever things don’t break their way. I generally dismiss them as marginal types.

"Politics of envy" is incendiary and provably false. You can't say Democrats are elitists who look down on their Republican peers and at the same time envious spoilsports. We're not envious of you; we think your policies are despicable.

Sure you can. A wealthy socialist with three houses can preach about inequality without it affecting his digestion at all. A lady who got rich from a philanthropic foundation and hosting story times for investment bankers has no problem sneering at working class deplorables. You’re underestimating the power of hypocrisy.

I don't see storm troupers behind every tree. I see the leader of the republican party repeatedly screaming, without any evidence whatsoever, voter fraud in an effort to 1) stop the counting of votes in florida, or 2) stop the seating of the senator if the democrat ends up getting more votes. Frankly, trying to subvert people's trust in our elections in this manner is about the most heinous and despicable thing I could imagine a president doing.

I hate to break it to you but since the republicans don't seem to have any ideas or policies on which to run, this IS the future of the republican party.

Democrats shouldn't have to take a vow of poverty to represent their constituents; Bernie Sanders worked hard for his decades before he inherited property. But I think Democratic candidates should refuse PAC donations, if possible. Reversing the disastrous Citizens United decision and getting Big Money out of the picture would be a very good thing.

Mitt Romney, with his obvious snobbery (remember his 47% speech?), casual animal abuse, and religious extremism, should not be President. I'm not worried about it; no one wants to have a glass of sparkling water with him.
