    Attempting a three day fast

Last night at 8pm I started a three day fast attempt! This will be one of the toughest challenges I have ever done!

My plan is to keep busy: Draw, nature walks, clean my apartment, go to and OA meeting or two, watch foreign films, read a book, and work out.

Did you start your fast right AFTER a Thanksgiving feast similar to the one I just enjoyed?

I had my "Thanksgiving" meal yesterday -- one good-sized plate of Indian buffet (normally I would eat three).

Then for dinner I had a medium plate of pasta and some fresh fruit with almond butter.

I started my fast at 8pm last night. I am about 25% through it. But I think the hardest times are still to come. After tomorrow morning I will be in fasting zones uncharted as I have only gone 36 hours before, and that was about 10 years back.

Do you consume any calories through beverages? Or is it no calories for the 36 hours?

    I am almost halfway through.

Had some bizarre food cravings, like for a "ramen bomb," if you are familiar with that quintessential camping/hiking recipe! haha

But this morning I have little hunger.

Still fasting... 8.5 more hours until the 72 hours are complete.

Thanks, but I miscalculated. I actually have until 8pm EST tonight. Then the 72 hours are up. No specific cravings now. Everything sounds good -- from a "ramen bomb" to a salmon steak to a bowl of simple lentil soup.
