    weekend to-do list/moving

    I am getting ready to move again, I have one friend who moved 7 times in 8 years! He is my go-to resource. Mostly it is just doing it all! I am really good at backwards planning of projects like this, this is the 'done' list

    * move yarn to storage (vast majority)
    * move out of season clothes to storage
    * goodwill run of everything I have not worn in a year
    * find a place to live!
    * got boxes donated
    * had some really focused thoughts about this
    * put shampoo in travel containers
    * clean my part of the fridge (and take out trash!)

    To-do this weekend
    * buy a daybed
    * look at small room living for a couple hours on pinterest (haha)
    * finish last sewing project and put machine in storage
    * pack things
    * go to storage with stuff, and find my basic kitchen stuff
    * recycle old computer
    * plan to eat my food
    * plan a move date, eeek

    I love the fresh start of moving - culling possessions, everything is clean at the same time in the new place, etc.

    I am good you are positive Tammy, it helps boost me up.

    Just cleaned out my kitchen space and packed the things like flour and sugar that I don't use often. I have a plan to eat up what I have in the fridge. I also did an extra scrub on the dishes I used for thanksgiving (my roommate is out of town for the holiday and I am looking for some helpful things I can do while prepping to move.

    Okay actually moving things to the porch so they can be moved to storage. I need to vacuum, I can do that in the evening because no one else is here. Also doing all my laundry including bedding. I have some bags of trash ready to go and recycling as well to take out in the morning. Probably taking a walk in the park for the full moon in a little while.

    I am taking advantage of the full moon to 'clear out' a lot. I put away any remnants of my old job into one small envelope and a tiny baggie of all the pins I had been given over the years, like collaboration and students first. I did some reflecting which is also good. This was a good place to heal, it was also the place I came and crashed so there are some memories as well.

    It is a cleansing move which is good. You do sound well organized.

    I bought a daybed today and fit everything into storage well. I even packed all but 4 pairs of shoes.

    Now i am transferring my crochet patterns into a mini binder. I got some pockets for the ones already printed, and some I am rewriting on the notebook paper.
