I know the holidays can be hard for some people. I have always enjoyed them. Today seeing a movie and dinner out. Tomorrow having a house full of people. Yesterday I cleaned in preparation and it was actually fun in anticipation of the event.

Had to cancel going to a family gathering because of a cold. Can't say I mind, though. I have movies and chicken soup, and am looking forward to a quiet day of rest.

Happy all the holidays. I did have fun but overall this has been a rough season. I went on a hike yesterday, it was gorgeous and very icy, have a bum bruise now from slipping!
I hope everyone got some celebration or connection that was meaningful to them.
