little things but being caught up!

In the last few months since I moved I bought my daughter a bed, myself a bed and mattress, bought holiday presents, did a new year's retreat and now paid up 3 months of student loan. I also have dental work on Monday. I have paid everything, or have the money set aside, and can still eat and put gas in the car. It is going to be tight, I did need to take a couple hundred from savings to make this month work. So lots of beans and rice for another week and a half!

Well done! You're inspiring me to get a lot better about tracking and planning. I am working on the executor project/taxes so this is a great time of year to start focusing on this more closely, just as you are doing. I told my husband yesterday we should make ourselves just eat from the pantry for the next month. He's currently on an all fresh organic produce diet so this will probably not fly.

I guess I will eat out of the pantry all month.
