I finally got Netflix--only and exclusively to watch the new Unsolved Mysteries. I loved the third episode--all in French--and was amused by the fact that no one interviewed resembled the "slim and chic" image of the French population that is always remarked upon. In fact, all but one of the men looked decidedly like hobos living rough. I'm looking especially forward to their take on the government official whose body was found in a Delaware landfill.

Just watched the Netflix documentary "The Social Dilemma" and I found it very disturbing. The fact that our searches and news are tailor fed to us is very unsettling. Has anyone else seen it?

Just Mercy. I couldn't get through the book, but I enjoyed the movie. Bryan Stevenson is impressive. I guess not all lawyers from Delaware are as insipid as Joe Biden.

The 'Attention Economy" is a new term to me but this little video explains it quite well.

I have tried to stay in control of my attention by using my little Macbook Air not my iPhone for online access. I will walk away from the little computer but my phone is my record keeper and goes with me everywhere for my convenience as an emergency phone, camera, etc. Managing the self-control of our attention is an interesting challenge.
As Cicero said, “Gratitude is not only the greatest of virtues, but the parent of all the others.”
