No,KayLR I haven't read that one. I'll have to order it from the library.
“Empty planet: The shock of global population decline“
Just started it - it says we will reach peak population at about 2050 and downhill from there until humans are extinct.
Haven’t read enough to have an opinion yet.
Interestingly, there are interwoven threads tying How to Change Your Mind and Joyful. Like the importance of enriched environments to uplift us. This has been known for some time among scientists who work with rats.
Elevation by Stephen King
The Wonder by Emma Donoghue
Britt-Marie Was Here by Fredrik Backman
Listening to Anna Quindlen's Lots of Candles, Plenty of Cake.
Totally no-brainer fiction: I'm going through Mary Kay Andrews right now. Current read: Savannah Breeze
Would love to hear if Britt-Marie and Lot of Candles are good once you guys are done with them.
I just finished "In A Dark, Dark Wood" by Ruth Ware. It was an OK thriller/suspense read, nothing outstanding.
I just got 2 from the library:
Marjorie Morningstar (something old)
The Tattooist of Auschwitz (something new).
Britt-Marie started out slow but is growing on me.
