    Mueller's report......

What's your take on Mueller's report and the obvious conclusion that there won't be an impeachment based on this report? Though I still refer to Trump as the Thug of Orange, I am getting used to him to some degree - scary, but human nature is such that what one can't change, one eventually adjusts to. I'm a bit down, but I'm taking heart in one thing unrelated. Apparently the yield curve on bonds has inverted which I'm told is a classic and reliable signal of an upcoming recession - if such happens on Trump's watch, let the fireworks begin. I'll sit back with some popcorn and learn how to say I told you so in multiple languages, starting with Arabic at first. Rob

Curious that you seem to be eagerly awaiting an economic downturn. I don’t know that that does much for your fellow 85006 residents, but whatever, And I don’t understand the “ I told you so” sentiment. what did you tell us and when? I mean what is causing the economic downturn And how did you predict that?

IL. IL. IL......IL. Question for you, if I may? Where do you find in my post eagerness for an economic downtown? Such is not my wish, especially given that what I do for a living is economy dependent BIG TIME. I'm only saying if such does happen on Trump's watch, sentiment against him may increase to the point where his reelection is very much up in the air.

For the record I'd rather keep saving money, I find I'm very partial to saving money now that I make enough to actually save some money. What I am saying if that if a downturn is going to take place, if it's on Trump's watch, don't count on him being reelected....especially after the Obama era unemployment extensions that make the GOP cringe from here to eternity. About I told you so - what I mean is that nothing good could realistically come of a Trump Presidency overall - some scattered small things perhaps, such as his signing the Right To Try Bill (one thing he has done that I do very much support) but overall, not much good. A bruising recession would seem to prove my point. As to the 85006 - we will survive, we always have before and likely will going forward. Many here can bail for Mexico at will with Mexican passports so if things get really bad, some of this zip code has other options.....with saved US dollars from working here vs. lower costs in Mexico, some people do quite well upon returning. And as far as predicting a downturn, I am no economic expert nor do I play one online. Google if you will recessions likely due to inverted yield curves and see my point....if you are interested in doing so. Apparently this yield curve inversion SCREAMS impending recession - but don't take my word - learn from those who know much better than me. Rob

I doh't know, bae....what I am referring to is the conclusion that Trump is not guilty of conspiring with the Russians to influence the 2016 elections, which, at least to me, was the point of the roller coaster ride to begin with - this determination. As to the full report, I don't know more than likely any of the rest of us do. Rob

As far as I know no one outside of AG Barr and Assistant AG Rosenstein have seen it so I'd be hard pressed to give you my take on it, maybe you have better sources? As for impeachment, it seems the Democrats will have to adjust their collusion plans and try to focus on another reason, which shouldn't be a problem for them since any reason will do.

The Dems are rather eager to have Trump out of office any way possible - on this much I have to agree with you. Amazing. See, never say never. Here we agree on something, Alan! Miracles never cease so I'm told LOL. Rob

Oh Ok! so you are NOT eager for an economic downturn. Well then, good.

As others have pointed out, all we've seen so far is Barr's hastily prepared interpretation of the report. Considering his radical views on how to interpret the obstruction laws (under his view of the law one could not be charged with obstruction by flushing drugs down a toilet since there'd be no way to prove the underlying crime that caused the obstruction) and his actions during Iran-Contra I take anything he has said with a block of salt. Whether congress or the public will get to see the Mueller report is still an unknown. It may take some effort by the house of representatives to find out what the report actually says but I have confidence that ultimately our system will work. There's significant precedent (Starr report, anyone?) that it will have to largely be made public. Perhaps not as fast as any of us would prefer, but that's just the way it goes sometimes.

At the end of the day, though, I think we can all agree, at least the current president didn't lie about a blowjob. There's always that...

There was the business of paying off the porn star though.
