    I think the fuss factor is akin to Yppej's principle of purging items which spark annoyance.

    Yes, agreed. I thought of that when I wrote this post. I will say that some things are annoying even if
    I dont have to “fuss” with them. They are just annoying because they sit there, taking up space, and are ugly or stupid or they remind me of a failure.

    But yes, in the end most things that annoy me are things I have to fuss with.
