    National Trails Day 6/1

The American Hiking Society encourages all to find an event, hike/bike advocate/maintain a nearby trail.

We have been inundated with rain here in the NW. Trails are "stay off" so they dry and not get decimated.

Indeed. And I read about levees breached along the Mississippi and Arkansas Rivers. Some Trail Day events no doubt have been cancelled due to flooding.

I was out hiking last weekend, but will have to skip tomorrow. Visiting a friend who's recovering from pneumonia.

    Maybe Sunday.

I'll be volunteering at an autism conference, so will miss out on this Day, but Sunday looks promising, even though it won't "count."
My therapist told me the way to achieve true inner peace is to finish what I start. So far today, I have finished two bags of M&Ms and a chocolate cake. I feel better already!

Or read a book about the pleasures of walking.
