    tempting job posting

A teacher at a charter school for GT kids, ahhh. It is in Colorado Springs (and I am in a position to be able to move). It would be teaching all subjects, possibly as old as 7th/8th grade.

I interviewed at this school years ago and came in 2nd. I am not sure my last several years of employment are going to help or not.

In any case I am seriously wanting to apply.

I am thinking of writing2 weeks of lesson plans for the grade levels the job applies to. It will at least give me more current knowledge in planning for these grade levels and with a GT focus.

Just apply for the job! You came in second! First now has a job.

writing the lesson plans will just bite into time that you need for other things. Worry about lesson plans after you get the job.

Sorry , yes gifted and talented. The group of students i really like working with. They aren't necessarily the high achievers who want to make teachers happy. More likely to argue and keep you on your toes

Springs would be cheaper to live in than Denver. Never hurts to try especially when that little voice urges you to do so.
