Speaking as a retired guy, "Loose Fit" black Wool Socks are an amazing deal. Maybe they cost a lot up front... $16 a pair at Abelman Clothing (in Bessemer MI since 1887). But I can go indefinitely on 2 pairs. At the end of the day, I wash out the day's socks in the sink, wring them manually, and hang them to air dry. Each morning a dry pair of socks is waiting for me.
Socks I have a lot of! I've always worn ankle socks. Likely going to last me 5 years or so.

I went to the website. Socks do not come up in the search. Can you give a link please? Are they woolsmart? Thanks!

Not woolsmart. These wool socks are from Extrawide Sock Company, and they are called
Loose Fit Stays Up Solid Merino.

They are composed of 72% merino wool, 27% nylon, 1% Spandex.

(Amazon sells them, but I bought mine at Adelmans)
