    Need recommendation for spending tracker

Can someone recommend a good spending tracker? Software or website.

Here are ones I've tried and use/used:

    Mint
    YouNeedABudget
    EverydayDollar (Dave Ramsey)
    My own excel sheet.

I am currently using YouNeedABudget which I find very easy and flexible, and it gives you the opportunity to run reports to see how much you spent in each category by month, year, or other time period.

I've used it for about 4-5 years now.

Catherine, is YNAB free? Do you have to have your information on their site?

Tybee, it may have been free in the past--or a small fee to download onto your computer, but now it's $60/year and it's online. You have the choice to link accounts to it, but you don't have to.

Oops, I just checked and it's now $87 a year, but you get a free 34-day trial.

I use a 99 cent notebook. You can get one for even less this time of year as a loss leader at back to school sales.

I use excel. I've created a workbook and the worksheets in it reflect our beginning using MOYL principles!

What would you use it on? I use Gnucash on a computer (no smartphone).
